Imam ul Haq suggests Babar Azam improve strike rate to dominate like Kohli.
According to opener Imam ul Haq, Pakistan captain Babar Azam needs to enhance his strike rate to become a dominant batsman like Virat Kohli. During an interview with a local media channel, Imam ul stated that Babar is aware of the fact that he needs to improve his shot-making skills to make bowlers fear him. He further added that Babar and he have talked about this matter a lot and emphasized the need for the skipper to have more command over his innings to finish matches more powerfully.

Imamul mentioned that Babar has to improve his strike rate to dominate like Virat Kohli, and once he accomplishes that, he can play freely once he crosses the fifty-run mark. According to Imamul, Babar needs to develop a finishing touch to his innings so that everyone, including Pakistan cricket and himself, can benefit. Former cricketer Shahid Afridi recently shared similar thoughts on Babar’s batting, saying that Babar needs to prove himself as a match-winner to be considered in the same category as AB de Villiers and Virat Kohli.
