New Zealand Cricket Team’s Tour of Pakistan Gets Revised Schedule

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and New Zealand Cricket (NZC) have mutually agreed to modify the itinerary for the upcoming New Zealand men’s cricket team’s tour of Pakistan. The tour will now feature five One Day Internationals (ODIs) and five Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) that will count towards the International Cricket Council (ICC) Team Rankings.

The NZC team will begin the tour with three T20Is in Lahore from 14-17 April before heading to Rawalpindi for the final two T20Is and the first ODI from 20-26 April. The tour will culminate in Karachi, where the remaining four ODIs will take place from 30 April to 7 May.

This additional tour by the New Zealand cricket team will assist Pakistan in preparing their side for the ACC Asia Cup and the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023. The T20Is will also aid the PCB in rebuilding their team for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024, which will be held in the United States and West Indies in June/July 2024.
