Today marks the second match of the Pakistan Super League’s (PSL) eighth edition, with Peshawar Zalmi set to take on Karachi Kings at the National Bank Cricket Arena.
Peshawar Zalmi captain Babar Azam, who previously played for Karachi Kings, will be leading his new side and aiming for a winning start in the tournament. In the past, the two teams have had some thrilling encounters, with Peshawar Zalmi leading with 12 victories out of 17 matches played.
Both teams are well-balanced and have some talented players to watch out for, including Peshawar Zalmi’s young hard-hitters Mohammad Haris and Saim Ayub and Karachi Kings’ explosive opener Sharjeel Khan, experienced all-rounder Shoaib Malik, and key pacer Mohammad Amir.
