Ramiz Raja urges Pakistan Cricket team to prioritize cricket over social media

Published:

Former Pakistani cricketer, Ramiz Raja, has advised the Pakistan cricket team to prioritize their focus on cricket rather than social media. Raja expressed his concerns after the team’s loss against New Zealand in the ongoing five-match T20I series. He pointed out that New Zealand’s consistent and impressive performance is in stark contrast to Pakistan’s struggle to maintain focus and form.

Raja emphasized that Pakistan cannot afford to continuously lose back-to-back games, especially at this stage. He urged the team to learn from their recent loss and focus more on cricket, rather than relying on their reputation alone. He added that their performances on the field will ultimately determine their success.

The former PCB chairman also noted that such setbacks are not new for the Pakistan team, as they have faced similar challenges in the past. He referred to their defeat against Sri Lanka in the first pool match and the finals of the previous edition of the Asia Cup and the seven-match T20I series against England.

Raja further stressed that mistakes may be acceptable in the first game, but there is no margin for error in the second game. He urged the Pakistan team to maintain their focus and form if they aim to remain competitive as a top team.

In conclusion, Raja advised the Pakistan cricket team to learn from their mistakes, remain focused, and prioritize their focus on cricket rather than social media if they wish to remain competitive.
