Sarfaraz Ahmed Predicts Naseem Shah and Mohammad Hasnain Will Shine for Quetta Gladiators

Published:

Sarfaraz Ahmed, the captain of Quetta Gladiators, is counting on Naseem Shah and Mohammad Hasnain, his pace bowlers, to perform well in the upcoming HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL). In an interview with Cricket Pakistan, Sarfaraz stated that his local players will play a crucial role this season.

He mentioned that the team is lucky to have Naseem Shah, Mohammad Nawaz, Iftikhar Ahmed, and Mohammad Hasnain, who is part of the Pakistan T20 team.

Sarfaraz believes Naseem has improved as a bowler and has increased pace, while Hasnain has worked on his action and returned as a better bowler. The team also has Umar Akmal, who they have faith in.

Sarfaraz considers Sri Lankan all-rounder Wanindu Hasaranga as an important addition to the team, being the world’s number one spinner. Will Smeed and Jason Roy, who have previously been part of the team, will also play a key role. Sarfaraz is hoping to learn from past mistakes and deliver a better performance this season with a balanced squad.

Sarfaraz also spoke about his return to the Pakistan national team. He mentioned that it was challenging to be excluded, but he received support from his mentors like Nadeem Omar and Moin Khan. He chose to stay quiet and let his performance speak for itself.
